This is a Band Aid station not a hospital. I bet the morgue is flourishing. You will wait forever to be seen. They never have an answer for what is ailing you. The doctors seem to give a very general diagnosis which I am guessing is so they do not seem wrong. If you really want quality healthcare go to Jamestown!
It would have been cheaper and far, far, better service for me to have called an ambulance to take me an hour to Columbus to OSU.
I received top notch care before, during, and following my surgery!! The nurses and staff were just phenomenal!! Thank you so much for all you do!!!
Worst Hospital Ever.
Terrible Care, when discharged got paperwork about my artificial hip, which I do not have!! Also paperwork stated I was given a drug, which I *was not given*, which is good, because it would have caused a reaction with my regular meds. My follow-up scrip was sent to wrong pharmacy, TWICE, first in Columbus, then in Hillsboro, both an hour away from where I was in two opposite directions...and I never was able to get the scrip.
I will/would not use this hospital if I can help it!!
Son some how got a tiny red metal splinter in his eye. Waited 30 minutes in waiting room. Then was taken in back. The resident in charge with 2 nurses looked at one another. The specialized tool to get the metal out was broken. I was told they could try with a q tip but my son had to be still. My son is aitistic and frantic as he held down. The resident explained they could do more damage than good. We told them we were going to children's er in cincy. They said they call ahead. 1. They did not call ahead. 2. I got a bill saying they used tools and charged me for them. Turned out to be the broken tool. And for giving my son medical treatment he did not receive
After monthes I finally get them to straighten out billing with my insurance company, 90% has been paid by insurance, except what the insurance company called "excessive charges" from the Doctor W.M., of $639 over the $955 paid by insurance, for a man who spoke ten words to me and barely examined me.
The ER is horrible. I went in for problems i had after a miscarriage. The Dr. Told me I wasn't pregnant and that I had a bladder infection. Sent me home in pain. Took me 5 years after that to get pregnant again.
The mother baby unit was ok. The nurses where nice, but my son came out not breathing due to cord around his neck. The nurse that gave him cpr, did it too hard or for too long (how the Dr. Told me) and sent my baby to the NICU for a week.
My friend died at this hospital, and I'm starting to wonder if he would be alive today, had he been taken somewhere else...
