And !!! There's so much to do all around like Caesar Creek flea market, Renaissance fair, and don't forget Kings Island is only 20m away ... but hey why am I telling you! !! You just come here and take all the good camping spots before I get back ..
It's getting nicer and nicer every time we go there. . 5 star's isn't enough. Keep up the good work. . Can't wait to see what you do next.
Have been many times. Some sites are better than others but all in all nice campground.
Very clean, nice showers, flushing toilets. No food stores nearby, only 1 restaurant close but 11 minutes from the Renfair
This campground is pretty cool. People are generally nice. They go to bed early though and get up early. And usually only have one toilet per bathroom.
This may be, so far, my favorite Ohio State Park campground. Huge layout with multiple campground loops. Some very open, while others have many bordering trees. Lots of trails intertwine the loops and also lead to the lake. There are also many MTN bike trails one of which begins just before the campground entrance. There are many nooks to explore at this park. Nice sunsets over the lake, diverse flora, plenty of deer and interesting insects, such as walkingstick insects, cicadas, katydids, etc. The park officials are very laid back and do not close facilities/water/bathhouses until the weather truly gets cold. Bathhouse facilities are dated, but water was VERY hot. Lots of events, such as the halloween trick or treating-all contained within the park. All the campers I met here were very amiable and easy to talk with. Verizon 4G LTE was very good at spots-Top of E,D loops and most of A,B, C loops, especially near tops of the loops.
