Really enjoy the camping and fishing
Cowan Lake is truly one of the nicest state parks in our area. Their campsites are well maintained, fairly level, and spacious. The bath houses and restrooms are clean, and nicer than most state parks. They have great hiking trails, and prime real-estate for bike riding. Their camp store has a grill where you can get a bite to eat. They also rent bikes, canoes, and kayaks. The view from the back of the camp store is top-notch. Their public beach is well maintained and the boat ramps are easily accessible.
Very peaceful, nice size sites, friendly host, beautiful view of the lake from the store and easy to get to.
This is the best place, fishing, camping, just an overall great time beautiful place, and lots of good fishin
Very Nice campground. Some of the sites are very small but overall the campground is very well maintained.
